Yes Thanksgiving, a time when the house is always full of people and we rush to get the Trailer winterized and the boat out of the water. We have a severe weather warning on today and are expecting a big dup of snow so I am thankful we had a long weekend to get ready ![]() |

[QUOTE=Billy T] Here in the US[S]A we have thanksgiving in the 3rd thursday of november, and I was wondering, Why so early for Canadians. That answered it! ![]() Actually Billy the reasons we celebrate Thanksgiving earlier are to: 1) Ensure there is an ample supply of turkey and cranberries for us first; 2) Cheaper airfare; and 3) Our CFL season ends sooner than the NFL. Actually ours signifies the celebration of the harvest, which unfortunately for most of Canada comes before that of the US[S]A. ![]() |

I had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I had a side that didn't survive the bender but I am still thankful. Looks like fall is here as we are looking for minus Temperatures (celcius) tonight! Thanks for the great postings on the OLF. |
